NewVegas Casino Review

Warning!

NewVegas is a BLACKLISTED casino site that we recommend to avoid.

Having thoroughly reviewed it, we have found several predatory rules that negatively affect players.

Read on to learn more.

NewVegas was thoroughly reviewed in line with our detailed casino review policy.

Launched in 2019, NewVegas is a US-centric casino that accepts players from most parts of the world. It stands out for its wide variety of bonus offers, many of which are quite valuable.

All new players receive 50 free spins for free on signup, and after that, dozens of free spins and match bonuses with huge bonus amounts and high match percentages are available. Many have no playthrough requirements which is great for players who love no-wagering bonuses.

However, the extensive selection of offers is not enough to compensate for an otherwise lackluster gambling experience with several downsides. For starters, the game selection is limited with only 550 slots and one basic live casino platform. Few progressive slots and no crash games are available.

Withdrawals are the main concern though. You can only have one pending withdrawal of a maximum of $1,500 at a time, and approval times can be incredibly long – up to 14 business days, with some players reporting even longer timeframes.

Some of the casino’s rules are also outrageous, such as limiting your winnings to 10 times your deposit if you deposit less than $250. On top of this, the casino has no gambling license, which adds fuel to the fire and makes us question its legitimacy.

Oh, and one more thing. Mentioned only in terms and conditions and nowhere else, you have to be 25 years old to play at the casino. This is a first for us as we have never come across an online casino site with an age limit higher than 21.

Our advice: stay away from this platform and check out our updated list of top U.S. online casinos instead, or our full list of gambling sites if you reside in another country.

Pros and Cons of NewVegas Casino

Important Casino Rules

Thoroughly reviewing NewVegas Casino’s terms and conditions, we found several rules that stood out to us that you must know about:

  • If you deposit less than $249 and win, you are restricted to only receiving winnings equal to 10 times your deposited amount. The rest will be forfeited.
  • The age limit at the casino is 25. If you play at a younger age, you risk having all your winnings confiscated due to a breach of terms.
  • Sharing any form of negative feedback about NewVegas on any blog, forum, or website, gives the casino the right to confiscate your funds.
  • If you have a balance on your account and don’t place a bet in 90 days, the casino has the right to seize that entire balance.
  • With all bonuses that give you extra money on a deposit (not free spin offers), the received bonus money is removed upon cashout.

While the deduction of received bonus is a common and reasonable term on bonuses that are wagering-free, some of NewVegas bonuses do have wagering requirements and still have this deduction.

Welcome Bonus

As a new signee with NewVegas, all players can claim a no deposit bonus of 50 free spins:

  • Bonus: 50 free spins
  • Slot machine: Midnight Mustang
  • Wagering requirement: 100x
  • Maximum cashout: $50

To get these spins, you have to sign up via our special link which the offer is tied to. You must also activate the spins in the “my promotions” section of the casino.

To withdraw the winnings from the free spins, you must complete the wagering requirement and then make a minimum deposit. This deposit must be played through once and once done, you can cash out your entire balance.

Wagering Contributions

For the free signup bonus that NewVegas offers to all new players, all games contribute towards the wagering requirement by 100%, except for progressive jackpot slots.

However, in general, wagering contributions on games can vary widely from one promotion to another so always make sure to check each bonus’s rules.

Other Bonuses

Being the big highlight of NewVegas Casino, you’ll always find a ton of casino bonuses up for grabs, many of which have a really good value.

Some bonuses are free from wagering requirements, while others are subject to one.

Here’s a glimpse of the bonuses we have available on our account as of writing and updating this review:

15 free spins worth $45$651x (amount won)

Note

  • Match bonuses with a match percentage of 200% or more have a 10x cashout limit.
  • Upon withdrawal, any bonus amount from a match bonus is forfeited (you only keep the winnings on top of it).
  • Money won from free spins has no deduction upon withdrawal, making the 1x wager free spin offers very lucrative.

Loyalty Rewards

NewVegas Casino offers a very simple loyalty rewards scheme of exchangeable comp points that are earned for your wagers:

  • Earn 1 comp point for every $1 wagered on casino games.
  • Exchange 1,000 comp points for $1 in pure cash.

The rewards scheme is equal to a 0.1% rakeback on bets which is pretty decent.

Summary of Player Reviews

We read through around 100 player reviews for NewVegas Casino, and while the feedback is a mixed bag, most of them are negative. This is common for online casinos, regardless if they’re legitimate or not.

However, there are some key patterns, with the vast majority of reviews focusing on one issue: slow payout times. Numerous players have expressed frustration over the casino’s lengthy withdrawal process. Complaints range from delays of several weeks to months.

For instance, one player reported waiting over a month for a $200 withdrawal without receiving any communication from the casino, while another experienced a two-month delay before their payout was processed.

In some cases, players have even been blocked from customer support after repeatedly inquiring about their pending withdrawals.

Despite these concerns, there are a few positive reviews that praise NewVegas Casino for being trustworthy when it comes to payouts, albeit with long processing times. Some players also mention a liking for the casino’s bonuses and friendly customer support.

It’s worth noting that the casino has not publicly responded to any of the negative reviews, which could have been an opportunity to address the issues and improve its reputation.

Newvegas Casino’s game selection

While some gamblers may find NewVegas’s library of games satisfying enough, it is nowhere near that of many other casinos.

Even by American standards where US casinos tend to have a much more limited game selection than international counterparts, NewVegas falls short.

It only offers one basic live casino platform and while you can enjoy Baccarat, Blackjack, Casino Hold’em, and Roulette via this, it does not have any money wheels, dice games, lottery games, or game shows which many other casinos offer.

When it comes to its slot machines, these are provided by the following game studios:

  • Betsoft
  • Dragon Gaming
  • Instanet
  • Qora
  • Rival
  • Saucify
  • Wingo

Betsoft in particular is a great slot developer that creates many visually appealing and entertaining slots. But there are also a ton of other developers in the industry that do this, from which slots aren’t available at NewVegas.

On a positive note, the Return to Player % (RTP) is quite high in the slots, sitting at 94% – 96%.

On a more negative, only a few progressive jackpot slots are available and no category for them exists, making them difficult to find.

NewVegas Casino’s customer support

The customer support at NewVegas is serviceable, though not without its drawbacks. We’ve tested its live chat on several occasions, and while connecting to an agent is generally quick, the quality of the interaction is a bit underwhelming.

Once you’re connected, the replies tend to be slow, with noticeable delays of around 10 minutes between responses. This can be quite frustrating, especially when you’re trying to get quick answers to your questions.

While the agents do manage to resolve queries adequately, their responses are very basic and lack the personal touch or extra effort that might elevate the support experience.

Another downside is that once your issue is resolved, agents don’t typically follow up with any additional offer of assistance. You would expect them to ask if there is anything else they can help with. But once you’ve said thanks, they say nothing…

On a positive note, NewVegas does offer phone support in addition to live chat, which is a nice touch. Many casinos only provide a live chat, so having both options available is certainly a benefit that some will appreciate.

Overall, customer support at NewVegas gets the job done, but it doesn’t stand out as exceptional. If there was one word to describe it, it would be “bland”.

General Deposit and Withdrawal Fees

NewVegas doesn’t specify any fees for individual payment methods in its cashier.

However, its terms and conditions mention that:

  • A $10 – $40 withdrawal fee will be charged based on location and the method you use to withdraw.
  • A 3% – 6.5% fee may be charged on deposits made with debit/credit cards.

General Withdrawal Limits

Being one of the biggest drawbacks of NewVegas, the casino has very restrictive withdrawal limits:

  • A maximum of $1,500 can be withdrawn at a time.
  • You can only have one pending withdrawal.
  • A weekly withdrawal limit of $1,000 applies.
  • The casino reserves the right to lower the weekly limit to $500.
  • A monthly withdrawal limit of $10,000 applies.
  • VIP players can have their limits increased to $10,000 per 14 days.

In comparison to other casinos where weekly limits of $2,500, $5,000, or none at all apply, NewVegas’s limits are very low.

These limits are bound to cause a lot of withdrawal issues for players, especially since withdrawal times also tend to be long.

Withdrawal Times

According to NewVegas’s terms and conditions, the approval time for withdrawals is within 1 – 14 business days.

While this may ring true for most withdrawals, we’ve noticed several players mentioning much longer timeframes when going through the feedback left about the casino.

Either way, the withdrawal times at NewVegas are incredibly long when compared to most other casino sites that pay out within 72 hours, many of which do it in 24 and some in just a few.

Currencies Supported

NewVegas Casino lets you create your casino account in the following currencies:

  • AUD (A$)
  • EUR (€)
  • GBP (£)
  • NZD (NZ$)
  • USD ($)
  • ZAR (R)

Gambling License

On its website, NewVegas Casino claims to be licensed in Curacao under license number #8048/JAZ.

No proof of this claim exists, which is to be expected as the licensing entity shut down in November 28, 2024.

We questioned the casino’s management about this who told us the casino is unlicensed and always has been.

While no license is a bit of a red flag, we can understand why some US-centric casinos don’t have one due to the legal landscape.

What we find more concerning is that the casino lies about having a license when they don’t.
