Caleta Gaming

Caleta Gaming is a Brazilian casino software provider founded in 2013 by Fabíola Jaeger and Paulo Nova, who had previously worked together in game development since 2010. Headquartered in Florianópolis, Brazil, the studio has grown from a two-person project into a provider with approximately 160 online casino games as of August 2026.

The portfolio is unusually diverse. Alongside approximately 75 slots, Caleta has developed around 55 video bingo games, as well as crash games, keno, lotteries, scratch cards, and table games. Video bingo is particularly prominent, giving the studio a much larger presence in this category than providers whose catalogues consist almost entirely of slots.

Caleta uses one fixed RTP configuration for each game rather than allowing casinos to select from several mathematical versions. Our checks at online casinos also found the RTP displayed within the games, although the percentages themselves vary substantially between titles.

The company develops its games using technology built in-house and operates its own Remote Gaming Server, allowing direct integrations with casino operators. It also distributes its games through third-party platforms, including SOFTSWISS, Light & Wonder, Hub88, and Cactus Gaming. Its games have been approved or certified for several regulated markets, while Caleta Malta Limited holds a B2B licence from the Malta Gaming Authority.

Overall, Caleta stands out more for breadth than for following one particular game formula. Its catalogue ranges from conventional slots and extensive video bingo content to custom casino games and experimental formats such as Money Maze Beto, while RTPs, hit frequencies, layouts, and maximum wins can differ considerably from one release to another.

Game Portfolio & Development Approach

Caleta Gaming has developed approximately 160 games for online casinos as of August 2026. Unlike providers that concentrate almost entirely on slots, its catalogue is spread across several categories, with video bingo almost as prominent as slot machines.

The approximate breakdown supplied by the studio is:

Game TypeApproximate Number
Slots75
Video Bingo55
Keno7
Crash Games6
Scratch Cards6
Table Games5
Lottery Games3

Caleta’s public catalogue also separates smaller categories such as Mine, Hi-Lo, and MoneyMaze. The exact totals can therefore depend on how individual games are classified, but the broader picture is clear: slots and video bingo account for most of the portfolio without being the studio’s only areas of development.

A Particularly Large Video Bingo Catalogue

Video bingo is one of Caleta Gaming’s strongest differentiators. With approximately 55 titles, it represents around a third of the current online casino portfolio and is far more prominent than at software providers where bingo is either absent or limited to a handful of releases.

The category also remains active rather than consisting mainly of older games. Recent releases include Zen Tiger Bingo, Boteco Bingo, Bingo Volcano, and Rainbow Bingo, while Caleta continued obtaining certification for additional bingo titles in Brazil during 2026.

This makes Caleta better described as a multi-category casino studio with particular strength in slots and video bingo, rather than simply a slot developer with a few secondary products.

Custom Games for Individual Casinos

Twelve of the games in the current portfolio were developed specifically for casino partners. These custom releases allow an operator to commission a game around its own branding, audience, or requested concept rather than selecting only from Caleta’s standard catalogue.

Custom titles may consequently be less widely available than ordinary Caleta games and, in some cases, limited to the casino they were created for. The provider’s public catalogue currently labels several releases as exclusive, including customised bingo and slot titles.

Alternative Game Formats

Caleta has also experimented with formats that do not fit neatly into conventional casino-game categories. One current example is MoneyMaze Beto, which the provider lists separately as a Money Maze game rather than as a slot.

The outcome is still determined without player skill: a bank robber moves through a maze collecting randomly determined cash prizes while being pursued by a police officer, and the accumulated amount is awarded only if he escapes. This gives the round a more animated, game-like presentation while retaining the predetermined nature of a casino game.

An earlier experiment was Caleta’s Pick’em/Slot format. These games used a five-position, single-row slot structure but allowed players either to reveal the full result immediately or click the individual positions themselves. The reveal method did not change the outcome; it simply gave players a different way to uncover it.

We found no Pick’em/Slot releases later than 2021 in the material supplied by Caleta, suggesting that the format did not become a major continuing product line. It nevertheless provides another example of the studio experimenting with presentation and interaction beyond standard reel formats.

Social Casino Development

Caleta also develops content for social casinos, with approximately 75 titles identified in the studio’s current game data. There is substantial overlap with its real-money catalogue, so these should not be added to the approximately 160 online casino games to produce a total number of unique releases.

Because this page focuses on real-money casino software, we have not analysed the social-casino catalogue separately. Its existence does, however, show that Caleta develops games for both conventional online gambling operators and social gaming platforms.

Release Frequency

Caleta does not appear to follow a fixed monthly release schedule. Across the nine months we reviewed from December 2025 through August 2026, individual months contained between zero and three new games, with one release being more typical.

Some of this output also consists of commissioned games rather than general catalogue releases. For example, two of the three titles recorded in July were custom developments. Release volume therefore varies not only by month but also according to the projects Caleta is producing for individual partners.

In-House RGS & Game Distribution

Caleta Gaming operates its own Remote Gaming Server (RGS), built using technology developed by the company itself. The RGS is the system behind the games that communicates with a casino platform, processes game rounds, and records transactions between the player and operator.

Having this technology in-house means Caleta does not need to rely on an external game platform for every integration. It can connect directly with casino operators while retaining control over the technical infrastructure used to deliver and operate its games.

Direct and Aggregator Integrations

Caleta supports several ways for casinos to access its catalogue. In a standard direct integration, the casino or platform builds a connection to Caleta using the studio’s technical system. Caleta can also handle more of the integration work itself when connecting to a partner’s existing platform.

The third option is indirect distribution through an aggregator or another platform that is already connected to Caleta. This allows a casino using that service to add Caleta games without establishing a completely separate technical connection with the studio.

According to information supplied by Caleta, its aggregation partners include SOFTSWISS, Light & Wonder, Hub88, and Cactus Gaming. The studio has also announced integrations with platforms including Atlaslive, Uplatform, and Torrero.

This mixed distribution model gives Caleta two routes to casinos: operators can integrate directly where that makes sense, while aggregators can make the same catalogue available to many additional casinos through an existing connection. Its 2025 agreement with Light & Wonder, for example, was specifically designed to distribute Caleta games across several regulated markets, including Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Malta, and South Africa.

For players, the distribution route generally makes little difference to how the game itself works. Its main effect is on availability: maintaining both direct integrations and aggregator partnerships gives Caleta more ways to place the same catalogue at different casino operators and in different markets.

Slot Mechanics & Features

Caleta Gaming’s slot catalogue varies considerably in both layout and mechanics. Current titles range from compact 3×1 and 3×3 games to 7×7 grids, while the ways in which winning combinations are formed include conventional paylines, 243 win ways, cluster pays, and Pay Anywhere systems.

The game data supplied by Caleta also shows extensive use of bonus features. Bonus buys are available in all of the current conventional slots listed in the material we reviewed, with the older Pick’em/Slot format being the exception.

Different Ways of Forming Wins

Caleta’s payline slots use between one and 50 fixed lines, while other titles pay through 243 possible symbol combinations. Some payline games also use Win Both Ways, allowing qualifying combinations to form from right to left as well as the conventional left-to-right direction.

Cluster-pay games use larger grids and award payouts when enough matching symbols connect with one another. Pay Anywhere removes the need for those symbols to form a conventional line or cluster and instead pays when the required number of matching symbols appears anywhere on the grid.

This gives the slot catalogue more structural variety than providers that repeatedly use the same 5×3 payline or win-way format. Caleta’s current portfolio includes layouts ranging from 3×1 and 5×1 to 5×6 and 7×7, so the screen itself can function quite differently between releases.

Free Spins and Bonus Progression

Free spins appear throughout the portfolio and are frequently combined with an additional mechanic rather than simply reproducing the base game without a stake.

Some titles use what Caleta describes as unlimited free spins. This does not mean that the feature literally continues forever. Instead of starting with a fixed number of rounds, the free spins continue until a specified ending condition occurs, such as particular symbols appearing on the reels.

Another variation uses progressive free spin triggering. Rather than requiring three scatter symbols on a single spin, players collect qualifying symbols or progress towards filling a meter, with the free-spin feature activated once the required target has been reached.

Tumbling Wins and Multipliers

Tumbling mechanics are used in several Caleta slots. Symbols involved in a winning combination disappear and new ones take their positions, creating the possibility of additional wins without placing another wager.

Some games combine this with a progressive multiplier that increases as consecutive tumbles produce further wins. Cluster Cup, for example, uses a 7×7 cluster grid alongside tumbling wins and a progressive multiplier, while older releases such as Dressing Room also combine tumbles with increasing multipliers.

Wilds and Symbol Changes

Wild symbols appear in several forms across the catalogue. Depending on the title, they can expand to cover an entire reel, remain sticky for multiple rounds, carry win multipliers, or appear through events that turn one or more reels wild.

Caleta also uses several types of symbol transformation. Reviewed examples include ordinary symbols changing into wilds, low-paying symbols being removed so that only higher-paying symbols remain, and individual symbols expanding to occupy a larger area of the reels.

Hold & Win, Pick Bonuses, and Wheel Features

Selected games contain Hold & Win-style features under different names. In the versions we reviewed, qualifying symbols lock into position while the remaining spaces continue spinning, with newly landed qualifying symbols also becoming locked and allowing the feature to continue.

Pick-and-collect bonuses take a more interactive approach by presenting several concealed symbols or tiles and allowing the player to select them to reveal prizes. Other titles use prize wheels to determine a bonus award.

The Throw Symbol

One of Caleta’s less conventional mechanics is the Throw Symbol. In games using this feature, a losing base-game result can sometimes be interrupted by an additional event that introduces a special symbol or activates a bonus opportunity rather than simply ending the round.

The mechanic appears in titles such as Lucky K and Village Brewery. Its exact effect depends on the game, so it should be treated as a recurring feature concept rather than one identical bonus used across every title.

Overall, Caleta’s slots mix familiar mechanics with a relatively broad range of payout structures and bonus formats. Tumbling wins, free spins, wild variations, and bonus buys appear regularly, while features such as unlimited free spins, progressive bonus triggering, and the Throw Symbol provide less conventional variations within the catalogue.

RTP, Hit Frequency, Volatility & Payout Profiles

Caleta Gaming’s mathematical profiles vary much more widely between games than those of many providers we have reviewed. This is particularly noticeable in RTP and hit frequency, where two titles within the same game category can offer very different theoretical returns and payout patterns.

One Fixed RTP per Game, but a Very Wide Range

Caleta uses one fixed RTP configuration for each game rather than supplying the same title with several return to player percentages that casinos can choose between. This means the RTP of a particular Caleta game should remain the same regardless of which casino offers it.

The percentages themselves vary substantially across the catalogue. Slot RTPs in the data supplied to us extend from approximately 92% to 97.73%, while video bingo ranges from around 90% to above 96%.

That is a much broader spread than at studios that keep most releases clustered around roughly the same RTP. A Caleta title near 97% can provide a considerably better long-term return on wagers than one around 92%, making the choice of game especially important.

Our testing also found the RTP publically displayed within the Caleta games we checked. This is particularly useful here because the wide variation between titles makes the percentage more relevant than it would be in a catalogue where nearly every game sits within a narrow range.

Hit Frequencies Range From Very Low to Very High

Slot hit frequencies range from 5.74% to 49.92%. Many titles sit above 30%, with a substantial number exceeding 40%, while others record wins much less frequently.

This means Caleta does not have one recognisable payout rhythm across its slot catalogue. A game near the bottom of the range may go through comparatively long stretches without recording a payout, whereas a title near 50% can register some form of win on almost half of all spins.

A high hit frequency does not necessarily mean frequent profits. Many recorded wins can still return less than the original stake, particularly in games with high payout potential, where larger but less frequent prizes may account for a substantial part of the overall RTP.

The variation is even more pronounced in video bingo. Hit frequencies range from 12.77% to 73.04%, with most titles above 40% and several exceeding 70%. Players moving between Caleta bingo games can therefore encounter very different frequencies of winning combinations despite remaining within the same game category.

Volatility Labels Need Additional Context

Caleta classifies its current slots as Medium, High, or Very High volatility, while its bingo catalogue also uses these three categories, with High appearing most frequently.

We would treat these labels mainly as a way to compare Caleta games with one another rather than as a universal industry scale. The provider’s Medium category can include games with characteristics that would appear relatively mild beside many modern medium-volatility slots.

For example, one Caleta slot classified as Medium has a maximum win of only 100x and a hit frequency of 37.75%. On those figures alone, its payout profile appears considerably closer to what many providers would classify as very low volatility, although other aspects of the underlying mathematics may explain Caleta’s Medium rating.

We therefore would not reclassify individual titles ourselves, but players should consider the provider’s volatility label alongside the RTP, hit frequency, maximum win, and bonus structure rather than relying on the label alone.

Learn More About Volatility in Casino Games

Maximum Wins Vary Sharply Between Game Types

Caleta’s slot maximum wins range from just 100x to 42,000x the stake. The portfolio is not concentrated entirely at either extreme, although payouts around 1,000x to 3,000x are the most common.

This gives the slot catalogue a broader payout range than providers whose games follow a more consistent mathematical profile. Some Caleta games have relatively modest ceilings that would be considered low for modern online slots, while selected releases reach the five-figure maximum wins now more commonly associated with higher-volatility content.

Other game categories follow different patterns. Video bingo ranges from approximately 1,500x to 19,500x, with 1,500x appearing frequently. Keno has considerably higher upper limits of 15,000x to 60,000x, while the current lottery games supplied in our data each have a 1,000x maximum win.

Caleta’s crash games use a different approach. Rather than publishing a maximum-win multiplier, the current titles have a fixed maximum payout of $10,000. This means the effective maximum return relative to the stake can vary substantially. In BetMan Crash, for example, stakes range from $0.10 to $100, so the $10,000 payout limit represents 100,000x at the minimum stake but 100x at the maximum.

Caleta does not state whether the underlying crash multiplier itself has a technical upper limit or could theoretically continue increasing beyond the point at which the $10,000 payout cap is reached. We therefore treat $10,000 as the confirmed maximum payout rather than assigning these games a fixed maximum-win multiplier.

Overall, Caleta Gaming does not have one uniform mathematical profile. Its games range from relatively frequent-paying titles with modest maximum prizes to much less frequent or substantially higher-potential releases.

The fixed RTP model and visible in-game percentages make these differences easier for players to identify, but the unusually wide ranges mean it is still worth checking the statistics of the individual game rather than assuming one Caleta title will behave like another.

The games below were selected to show the variety within Caleta Gaming’s portfolio rather than to rank its most popular releases. The selection focuses mainly on slots, while also including video bingo and crash games to reflect some of the provider’s other major categories.

Together, the games cover very different mathematical profiles and formats, including RTPs from 93.38% to 97.73%, hit frequencies from 6.62% to 73.04%, maximum wins ranging from 1,000x to 42,000x, and win systems such as paylines, 243 ways, cluster pays, and Pay Anywhere.

The selection also includes BetMan Crash, where the maximum payout is capped at $10,000 regardless of stake, illustrating how Caleta applies different payout structures across its wider catalogue.

Custom Games & Promotional Tools

Caleta Gaming works with casino operators and aggregation platforms on customised projects rather than offering only its standard game catalogue. This includes developing exclusive games and providing the technical support needed for casinos to run free-spin promotions on compatible titles.

Custom Games for Casino Partners

Casinos can commission Caleta to develop games around their own requirements, such as a particular theme, branding, or game concept. Several titles in the portfolio data supplied to us were custom developments, demonstrating that this is an established part of the studio’s work rather than only a theoretical service.

These games may be exclusive to the operator that commissioned them or otherwise have more limited distribution than Caleta’s standard releases. The studio’s public catalogue also identifies selected titles as exclusive releases.

Promotional Free Spins

Caleta provides free-spin integration that allows casinos to award promotional spins on its games. Casinos can use this functionality for their own bonus campaigns, deciding when the spins are awarded, which players receive them, and what promotional terms apply.

These promotional spins are separate from free-spin bonus rounds built into the mathematics of an individual slot. Promotional free spins are awarded externally by the casino, while an in-game free-spin feature is triggered according to the rules of the game itself.

Our guide to free spin bonuses explains how promotional spins work, how they differ from in-game free-spin features, and the bonus conditions that may apply to them.

Tournaments, Missions, Challenges & Jackpots

Caleta can also work with operators on tournaments, missions, challenges, and jackpot promotions. However, the information supplied to us indicates that these can use functionality available through Caleta’s platform partners rather than necessarily being operated through a dedicated Caleta-built promotional system.

We therefore would not describe Caleta as running its own network tournament, mission, or jackpot platform unless a specific campaign confirms otherwise. Instead, these promotions can be arranged according to the casino’s requirements and the capabilities available through the platforms and aggregators involved.

Caleta’s approach is therefore relatively flexible: it can build entirely customised games, support casino-controlled free-spin campaigns, and work with distribution partners when an operator wants additional promotional functionality.

Awards & Industry Recognition

Caleta Gaming has received industry recognition across several parts of its business, with video bingo and individual game releases receiving particular attention.

Confirmed Awards

  • BiS Awards 2026 – Best Crash Game: Pipa Crash won the category at BiS SiGMA South America in São Paulo.
  • SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2023 – Bingo & Lottery Supplier of the Year, Silver: Caleta finished as the runner-up behind Pragmatic Play.

The two results reflect different parts of Caleta’s unusually broad portfolio. Its 2023 recognition was centred on bingo and lottery content, while the 2026 award went to a crash game rather than one of the studio’s larger slot or video bingo categories.

Shortlists and Finalist Appearances

Caleta has also appeared on numerous industry award shortlists. Recent examples include the 2026 EGR B2B Awards for Bingo Supplier and the SBC Awards 2026 for Casino / Slots Developer of the Year – Small Organisation.

Information supplied by the studio also identifies finalist or shortlist appearances at the BiS Awards, SiGMA Awards, AffPapa Awards, EGR Awards, BetConstruct Awards, and CasinoBeats Awards across 2023–2026. These include recognition for game provision, bingo supply, slot development, branding, individual executives, and game collaborations.

We distinguish these nominations from outright wins rather than treating every shortlisted category as an award received by Caleta.

Overall, Caleta’s award history is consistent with the diversity seen in its catalogue. Recognition has not been limited to conventional slots, with video bingo and crash content both receiving attention from industry award organisers.

Licensing, Market Approvals & Game Testing

Caleta Gaming operates in several regulated gambling markets, but licensing and game certification should be treated as separate concepts. A supplier licence allows a company to provide gambling products within the relevant regulatory framework, while game certification confirms that specific titles meet the technical requirements of a particular market.

Malta Gaming Authority Licence

Caleta Malta Limited holds a B2B Critical Gaming Supply licence from the Malta Gaming Authority under licence number MGA/B2B/1006/2023. This allows the company to supply its casino games and related technology to other gambling businesses operating within the applicable regulatory framework.

Caleta’s website also displays the Bahamas under its licensing information. However, the publicly accessible information we found does not identify the relevant licence number or provide the same level of detail available for its Malta licence, so we would not treat the two records as equally independently verified.

Certified and Approved Markets

According to Caleta Gaming’s website and information supplied directly by the studio, its technology or games have been certified or approved for the following regulated markets:

  • Brazil
  • Malta
  • Peru
  • Colombia
  • Philippines
  • South Africa

These approvals should not be interpreted as a complete list of countries where Caleta games can be found. The studio’s titles are also distributed through offshore casinos that accept players from many other countries. The markets above are specifically those where Caleta has confirmed regulated-market approval or certification.

This does not necessarily mean that every Caleta game is approved in each of the listed markets. Regulators can require individual titles, the Remote Gaming Server, the Random Number Generator, or other technical components to be tested separately before they can be offered locally.

Brazil provides a good example. Caleta initially obtained certification for its RGS, RNG, and 11 individual games in 2024, before certifying additional batches of titles. By June 2026, the studio reported that 48 of its games had been certified for the Brazilian market.

Caleta has also completed title-specific certification in other jurisdictions. In Colombia, for example, BMM Testlabs certified an initial group of 16 slots and video bingo games against the technical requirements used for the regulated market.

GLI and BMM Testlabs

Caleta Gaming uses Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) and BMM Testlabs for independent testing and certification. These organisations examine the technical systems and games to confirm that they meet the standards required for the markets in which they are being submitted.

GLI’s certification work for Caleta in Brazil has covered the studio’s Random Number Generator, Remote Gaming Server, and individual games. BMM Testlabs has also certified batches of Caleta titles, including slots and video bingo games.

RNG testing checks that game results are generated randomly and meet the required technical standards. Individual game certification can also verify details such as the game’s rules, payouts, and RTP before it is approved for a regulated market.

Overall, Caleta combines direct B2B licensing in Malta with technical and game approvals across several additional regulated markets. The use of GLI and BMM Testlabs is also publicly documented, giving us considerably more information about its testing arrangements than is available for some software providers.

Casinos That Offer Caleta Gaming Games

Caleta Gaming has both direct casino integrations and distribution agreements with aggregation platforms, but its games are not as consistently available as those of some of the largest international software providers.

To assess its offshore availability, we checked 15 casinos with large game libraries. Eight did not offer any Caleta Gaming titles, five carried more than 130 games, and the remaining two had smaller selections of 21 and 28 titles.

This suggests a fairly uneven distribution pattern. Caleta should not be considered rare, as some casinos carry almost its entire online catalogue, but players also should not expect to find its games at every offshore operator.

Availability can be more restricted at locally regulated casinos. Individual markets may require the provider, its platform, or specific games to receive local approval before the content can be offered, so Caleta’s presence can differ considerably between countries.

Examples of casinos we checked directly that offered Caleta Gaming titles when we researched this page include:

How We Researched Caleta Gaming

This page combines information supplied directly by Caleta Gaming with our own game testing, the studio’s public materials, regulatory and certification records, award-organiser information, and casino availability checks.

Information Supplied by Caleta Gaming

A representative of Caleta Gaming answered detailed questions about the company, including its RTP model, testing laboratories, distribution, regulated-market coverage, promotional tools for casinos, and company background.

We also received a detailed game sheet covering the current portfolio. This provided title-level information such as game type, release date, RTP, volatility, hit frequency, maximum win, reel or grid format, win system, and supported features. It was also used to analyse the overall distribution of games across slots, video bingo, crash, keno, lottery, scratch cards, and table games.

Direct Game Testing

We opened and tested Caleta Gaming titles at online casinos to check how the games work in practice. This included verifying mechanics described in the provider data and checking whether RTP information is visible to players within the games.

Our feature analysis is based on mechanics identified in the games and information supplied by Caleta. It should be treated as representative rather than an exhaustive list of every feature used across its online casino titles.

Licensing, Certification & Awards

We cross-checked important company and regulatory information against Caleta’s official website and publicly available records where possible. This included its Malta B2B licence and public information documenting certification work carried out by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) and BMM Testlabs.

Award claims were also checked against organiser records and supporting sources. Where the information supplied by Caleta differed from an official result, we used the independently verified record instead.

Casino Availability Checks

To assess how widely the studio is available at offshore casinos, we checked 15 operators with large game libraries. Eight had no Caleta titles, five offered more than 130, and two carried smaller selections of 21 and 28 games.

This sample is used as an indication of practical availability rather than a measurement of Caleta’s overall market share. Casino libraries change over time and can also differ according to the player’s country.
